Podcasting

Sound only

A podcast is like a recorded radio programme that people can listen to at any time on the Internet. When you have them on your website, your customers can stream or download your podcasts to their computers and mobile devices.

You might like to use my voice for your podcasts. Because it only uses audio, it’s easier and cheaper to produce than video. A podcast can be scripted, recorded and edited quickly, saving you time and money. The more personal medium of voice connects with your customers in their language.

Samples

To give you an idea of what your podcast might be like, here are some sample sound files. In each file, I am reading the first paragraph from classic books of English literature in the accent of the country from which they come.

For an American accent, listen to Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain.

For a British accent, listen to A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens.

For a Scottish accent, listen to Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson.

For an Irish accent, listen to The Dubliners by James Joyce.

For an Australian accent, listen to Tindo here.
